The Consumer Electronics Show(CES) is the largest exhibition of consumer electronics and IT in the world, hosted every January by the Consumer Technology Association(CTA). This year, CES takes place in Las Vegas for four days from January 5 to 8.
Each year, companies around the world showcase their core technologies and products that will drive the future. Worldwide attention is given to this event, where around 3,000 companies from about 170 countries are participating to exhibit 41 trailblazing technologies, including 5G, AI, robotics, drones, AR, VR, mobility, metaverse, and IoT.
The six main keywords of CES 2023 are Web 3.0, Metaverse, Digital Health, Mobility, Sustainability, and Human Security, all focusing on how modern technology can help solve the issues that mankind is currently facing.

As evident in the names, Technology Zone focuses on the various experiences offered by OLED technology and its product lineup, while the Lifestyle Application Zone delivers three lifestyle activities of Watch, Play, and Work in a unique way by using OLED optimized for various types of lifestyles.

In Technology Zone, LG Display’s META Technology is ready for visitors to experience. On the Display Wall in Technology Zone are the 2nd Generation OLED TV, Foldable OLED, Gaming OLED, OLEDoS, along with the 3rd Generation OLED applied with META Technology. A total of nine displays operate in sync to express OLED’s uniquely superior color accuracy at any size, giving an experience akin to looking at a piece of media art. META Technology will usher in a new era of Natural Reality, where accurate, abundant color expressions and maximized viewing angle have been achieved based on brighter luminance via MLA(Micro Lens Array) and Meta Booster.
Gaming OLED, LG Display’s other core technology, boasts premium specs that create an Immersive Reality setting, offering an immersive experience to gamers via unbroken and vivid images even on a large screen. In addition, OLEDoS based on White OLED expresses clear images on a brightness of 7,000 nits without a Screen Door Effect(the spaces between pixels having a mesh-like appearance) even on a very small 0.42” screen, made possible via a pixel density of 3,500PPI.
